This 22-year-old dancer from Fort Wayne had a petite figure and wanted a larger, more feminine breast shape. Her breasts were naturally small, and her fit and active lifestyle meant that they remained rather undersized even for her small frame. She decided to look for a skilled plastic surgeon in Indiana, and when she met with me at my Valparaiso office she shared her goals for a DD bra size. I explained the benefits of silicone and saline implants and answered her questions so that she could make an informed choice between the two. She decided on silicone gel implants, which is a common choice for many women who want their breasts to feel as much as possible like natural breast tissue. breast tissue. After talking through more of her options for her breast implants in Indiana and setting a clear surgical plan, we scheduled a date for her surgery. I performed this woman's outpatient surgery at the Lakeshore Surgical Center in Chesterton, Indiana. While the patient was under general anesthesia, I created an incision underneath the crease of each breast. After this step, I inserted her 450cc silicone gel implants above the pectoral muscle. Following her surgery, the patient's breast size increased from a small B cup to a DD. She is extremely pleased with her very feminine looking new breast shape.
