This patient is a 24-year-old waitress from Merrillville, Indiana, and a mother of one. She had not breast fed, so her breast position was still relatively good, but she was unhappy with her small, barely-B-cup bra size. Hoping to find a way to make her breasts look larger but still natural, she came to my Schererville office with a number of questions about her options in breast enhancement in Indiana.

 

At her personal consultation, we talked about her options for breast enlargement, surgical techniques, and the benefits of different implant types. I explained that many women choose saline implants because they require smaller incisions, but many women still prefer silicone gel implants because they generally look and feel much more like natural breast tissue. This woman considered her options carefully and decided that saline implants would help her achieve her desired appearance.

 

I performed the patient's surgery at Lakepark Surigcare located in Hobart, Indiana, using general anesthesia. I placed each implant through an incision I created in the fold below the breast mound. Then I carefully created a pocket or space for each implant before placing her empty implants in each. After positioning the implants appropriately, I filled her 430cc saline implants with a sterile saline solution.
