Every patient has different areas that they see as top priority. This 50-year-old woman from Valparaiso, Indiana, wanted a breast enhancement because she was unhappy with the way her breasts had seemed to deflate and sag over time. As a registered nurse she knew that she had options for breast enhancement in Indiana, so she decided to find out more.

 

I was more than happy to discuss her goals in our personal consultation at my Valparaiso office. I explained that breast lift would make her breasts appear naturally firmer, higher, and more youthful looking. Despite her B-cup breast size, this woman had relatively good breast volume for her body weight, so I did not find it necessary to recommend an augmentation along with the lift. For this degree of sagginess, though, a minimal-incision breast lift would not be enough, so I recommended an approach that would tighten the skin both around the areola and along the lower half of the breast. The patient was happy with this recommendation, so we discussed her surgical plan in more detail scheduling her procedure.

 

I performed this woman's outpatient procedure at Lakeshore Surgery Center in Chesterton, Indiana. I perform breast enhancements with the patient under general anesthesia, so she slept through the entire surgery. I reshaped her breast tissue, removed excess skin, and repositioned her nipples; she was able to return to her home that day to begin the recover y process.
