This young woman knew she wanted to have children in the future, and wanted to find out if breast enhancement in Indiana before then would be wise. As a 23-year-old school teacher from Northwest Indiana, she felt it was important to her to have a breast size that would match her body shape, so she scheduled a consultation to discuss her options with me at my Schererville office.

At her personal consultation I explained that many of my patients have breast augmentation before having children, and based on her physical examination and our discussion I felt that she would be a good candidate for this procedure. She wanted to go from a B to a D cup bra size, so I made recommendations for the appropriate implant type, size, and placement, and after we discussed the specifics of her procedure we went over guidelines to help her prepare for the day of her surgery.

I performed her procedure at Lake Park Surgicare in Hobart, Indiana. With the patient under general anesthesia I placed each of her 375cc silicone-gel implants through an incision below the breast mound.

She had chosen to receive her implants above the chest muscle, which generally allows for faster recovery, and her results have healed nicely. This placement choice has also given her breasts a very "perky" appearance with a nice cleavage line, and she is very pleased with the size. Because of her breast augmentation in Indiana, her breasts now fill a D-cup bra and balance her body shape beautifully.
