This 41 year-old office manager came to my Munster, Indiana plastic surgery office to learn about her options for a fuller and more attractive breast contour. As a healthy nonsmoker with 2 teenage children, she had a good breast position and healthy tissue, but desired a breast volume more proportional to her body. She was naturally a B cup but her goal was to be a full C. During her consultation we explored a variety of options for the size, placement, and type of implant she would receive. Breast enlargement in Indiana often can be performed as an outpatient procedure; this patient's breast augmentation was performed under general anesthesia at an outpatient surgical center in Northwest Indiana. For some patients who have smaller frames and limited breast tissue, typical techniques limit the patient's options to smaller implants only. To maximize her results, I inserted 250cc high-profile saline implants through an inframammary incision, then filled each implant to 300cc. High-profile implants gave her a larger degree of projection without added width. Each of my patients receives specific instructions for postsurgical care to help ensure a swift and successful recovery. This patient healed with no complications, and is very happy with the new look and feel of her breasts. Since her procedure, she has chosen to add in other cosmetic enhancements to maintain a fresh appearance. For patients considering breast augmentation in Indiana, we offer a range of procedures from our accessible offices in both Schererville and Valparaiso. Contact us online or request a complimentary consultation to learn more.
